Soil Association Organic StandardMade With British Spelt
Welcome

Sharpham Park is an organic food farmed based near Glastonbury in Somerset. It is the family home of Roger Saul, founder of the British designer label Mulberry, and his wife Monty. Together they have created the Sharpham Park food range, out of their passion for sustainably farmed, healthy and natural food.

The farm specializes in growing Spelt, a nutritious and healthy ancient cousin of wheat, and rears rare breed White Park cattle, red deer and Hebridean and Manx Loghtan sheep.

Spelt

SPELT (Triticum spelta) is an ancient cousin of wheat, a hybrid of Emmer Wheat and Goats Grass, which has a different molecular structure to common wheat. With a mild nutty flavour, spelt is a wonderfully nutritious grain and has a low Glycaemic Index making it a great energy food.

Our Spelt is grown, harvested and milled at our organic farm in Somerset.
